ANNUAL REPORT

Collaboration

Heather House became a reality in 2001 when The Interfaith Council (IFC) of Solano County became a reality. The mission of the IFC is to reduce the impact of poverty and homelessness in Solano County through the coordinated efforts of people of faith. It is the belief of the IFC that regardless of what might separate people from each other, common ground will always be found in serving God and serving people.
The IFC is comprised of 25 different faith communities, which include Christian churches and non-Christian faith communities. Because members of the Council are from a diverse group of faith communities, the Council does not proselytize anyone who is in need of services.
